The hang tag on it is dated 11/14/19 so I'm thinking it might be a 2020. I'm sure there is a way to tell by serial number, like almost any other guitar, but i I rejected the Silver Sky the first year they came out. But they did start to grow on me. I also like the sound of it much more than the thinner Fender Professional Strats. Today it's my favorite Strat guitar. I have not found a Fender Strat that I like better.
Either way, I am sure this new product will be big news. Hopefully, John won’t have to defend this new one as he did with the Silver Sky signature model. The PRS Silver Sky is by far one of the best instruments I have played, and though it took some warming up to, I could not picture a show without it. I’m about yay close to picking up a Studio, but the Silver Sky doesn’t gas me up.

Explore custom-made pickups, a custom neck profile, and a majestic Lunar Ice finish - it's stellar. And if you're into authentic single coil tone blended with Mayer's unmistakable tonal Versatile and great pickups, that work well when gigging with simple set-up. Quality of the guitar is all in all really good, although after 8 months of playing the paint from the volume and tone knobs is fading away, however this doesn’t really bother me, I think it looks cool.
